Director Priyadarshan and Lissy Priyadarshan’s names were in the news for the past week. It was said that the couple have some serious conflict which has made them decide to end their 20 year long married life. Priyadarshan rejected the news as soon as it popped up, stating that there was of course certain misunderstanding but he has no plans to quit his relationship with Lissy. A few days after Priyadarshan’s clarification, Lissy too clarified that the misunderstanding with her husband was normal that is common among every husband and wife and that has been sorted out. She had also stated that she is going to start a new life with her hubby who is one of the leading directors in Malayalam and Hindi film industries.

Now the former actress in an interview to a daily newspaper has opened up on the reason for the conflict between herself and her husband. Admitting that she and her husband were not talking to each other because of a small misunderstanding the actress said that a third person (who is not from film industry) pretending as a common friend had added fuel to the fire by misquoting her to her husband and vice versa. However all misunderstandings got cleared when they met each other and sorted out everything speaking face to face.

Lissy has also thanked Mohan Lal and his wife, Kamalhassan and Gauthami for helping the couple meet and sort out the issue.
