Director Kannan is joining with producer Michael Rayappan of Nadodigal fame who produced the 2009 super hit film under his Global Infotainment banner. This is Kannan’s fifth film and it is titled as Oru Oorula Rendu Raja. The shooting of the film starts from today. The film stars Vimal and Priya Anand in the lead roles and Soori takes care of the comedy department. The cast includes some noteworthy actors like Nasser, Thambi Ramiyah and Singamuthu.

D.Iman, one of the most sought after composers in K-town takes care of the songs and re-recording, while P.G.Muthiah will handle the camera.

Kannan has said that the film’s story is based on an unfortunate incidents taking place in a train from Tutucoirn to Chennai. The Jeyamkondan director added that the second half of the film predominantly filled by car travel with interesting action packed comedy sequences. The erstwhile assistant of ace director Mani Ratnam has also assured that .Vimal ,Priya Anand and Soori’s determination and how they are making it a success are portrayed in a genuine way.
