It’s a well known fact that Simbhu and Nayanthara are pairing up after a gap of 7 years for the film being directed by Pandiraj which is produced by Simbhu under his home banner. Vallavan, the film released in 2006 is the only film that had Nayan pairing up with Simbhu and it also lead to a off-screen romance relationship between the stars which eventually broke up.

Actor Dhanush considered as the competitor of Simbhu has also acted in only one film with Nayanthara so far, and the film is Yaaradi Nee Mohini. It is rumored that Dhanush wishes to have Nayanthara as the lead lady of his upcoming film to be directed by Suraaj. It is to be remembered that with back to back hits in Raja Rani and Arrambam, Nayanthara has had the one of the successful reentry for a heroine which is a rare phenomenon Tamil Cinema. It is said that Dhanush has decided to leave no stone unturned to get the dates of this actress to star in his film.

There is also another rumor floating about the film to be directed by Selvaraghavan which will have Simbhu playing the lead role and it again related to Dhanush. It is said that the film maker who is on a low with back to back commercial failures in Mayakkam Enna and Irandam Ulagam is keen on having his younger brother on board playing a powerful role in his next film since the union of Simbhu and Dhanush will have create extra ordinary pre release buzz about the film . However Dhanush is said to have rejected the offer stating that though he considers Simbhu as his good friend, going to the extent of sharing the screen space with him to prove that, may not be possible as of now.
