Ace Comedian Santhanam’s career has been rejuvenated by the instant success Endrendrum Punnagai that released several weeks ago. The film that gave ample scope for the actor’s comic timing as well as acting skills has given a new leash to his film career after a brief lull.

The good news does not stop here. Santhanam is entering the Malayalam film industry with the film titled Salala Mobiles that has Mammooty’s son and young sensation Dhulkar Salman and pretty lass Nazriya Nazeem playing the lead.

The film that is based on the incidents that happen in a Mobile phone shop, has Santhanam playing the role that makes a turning point in the story. Santhanam’s character name is Azhagarsami a Mobile application developer and the character is reportedly sketched with a suspense element.

The Director of the film Sarath A.Haridasan has said that Santhanam was the initial choice for the character when he finalized the screenplay. He has also said that he waited for many days to get Santhanam’s dates to shoot the scenes he will appear in. Since the role played by Santhanam is that of a Tamilan Santhanam has dubbed In Tamil for himself in this Malayalam film.
