Actor Arya is gearing up for a fresh bout of success with 'Purampokku' and 'Meagamann' this year, and just at the turn of 2014, he opened up for a brief conversation on his new year and outlook on resolutions. "I don't believe in new year resolutions" says Arya, justifying "you can easily get distracted or leave it mid way. I feel it is better to have short term goals and prefer them over long-term resolutions, as the former are usually achievable." Last year was highly successful for Arya with 'Raja Rani' and 'Arrambam' proving to be back-to-back blockbuster hits.

Speaking on his upcoming projects, Arya says "This year is going to be interesting, as I am working with directors I have not been associated with previously. I will give my best and hope that everything goes well." New year plans? "I am not much of a party person. I prefer to start each year with some adrenaline sport, and usually play football on the first day of every year. I hope to keep myself fit and active all through the year" says the charming actor.
