Sathyaraj plays dual role in Aiyyar IPS. Sathyaraj plays an Aiyyar from the typical Brahmin household who gets an IPS. After getting an IPS he takes to the street where he battles the rowdies. The other character is a street rowdy. IPS officer has Megha a new find from Mumbai plays the lead while the rowdy has Sanghavi for company. The film is produced and directed by Harirajan who directed Mangai TV serial. Megha is already creating waves with glamour poses. Sathyaraj’s Maha Nadigan before release has been sold for Rs 40 lakhs for the NSC areas in Tamilnadu. A new high for Sathyaraj.
