The shoot of Maan Karathe, that sees upcoming star Sivakarthikeyan pairing up with Hansika Motwani, another hot young talent in k-town, is briskly progressing in Pondichery. The film is expected to be a romantic comedy and renowned director A.R.Murugdoss is writing the script. With Sivakarthikeyan well known for his wits playing the lead and Murugdoss whose adeptness in lacing comedy and romance in serious scripts has been proved in the films like Ghajini and Thuppaki, one can expect Maan Karathe as a full fledged entertainer.

The team shot a few scenes in Karnataka before shifting to the Pondichery. Sivakarthikeyan is said to have done a stylish change over for the film directed by Thirukumaran an erstwhile associate of Murugdoss. Another young and happening talent associated with the film will be Music Director Anirudh.
