The Kamalhassan - Madhuri Dixit film has been dropped. Madhuri quoted a very fancy price which equaled the entire cost of shooting. Hearing this Kamalhassan told that the film be shelved till a replacement was found. It was supposed to be a trilingual- Hindi- Telugu- Tamil film. Now Singeetham Srinivasa Rao who was to direct the film has been given the nod to start the scripting of a new film with Kamalhassan. The film is a Kannada-Tamil film and it’s all about a cop. This film incidentally does not have a heroine in the proper sense. The work on this will start in a 40 day start to finish schedule. As soon as Kamalhassan returns from Swiss he will begin work on this bilingual.
