It is a popular notion that with one big hit, career settles on stability if not exactly on a rise. Amala Paul also rode the same fantasy horse when she was signed in for 'Thalaivaa' with Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The actress anticipated her name to be etched in the marquee of prominent heroines, and thereby also rise the bar to her remuneration. Unfortunately her dream castle got pulled down due to the murky performance of 'Thalaivaa', and the actress has come to live with the harsh reality and two projects at hand.

Amala has been signed in for 'Nimirnthu Nil' with Jeyam Ravi and 'Vellai Illa Pattathari' with Dhanush in Kollywood, apart from working on an upcoming project in Telugu.
