Ajith's association with producer AM Ratnam dates back to 'Kandukonden Kandukonden' days. After a long gap they rejoined in Arrambam which is slated to release on October 31 amid roaring expectations. Now soruces say that the producer is going to produce a film which will see the coming together of Ajith and director Gautham Vausdev Menon. It is worth recalling that the star and the director were about to work together in a film to be produced bu Sivaji Production which was eventually dropped.. Gautham's pairing up with Vijay in Yohan and Suriya in Dhruva Natchathiram also failed to materialize. It is said that Ajith will undergo a surgery necessitated by an accident while acting in a risky stunt scene in Vishnuvaradhan directed Arrambam, early next year and start working in this Gautham flick.

In the meantime GVM is said to have narrated one liners to both Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi who has given back to back hits in 2012 & 13. A little birdie is quoted saying that based on availability of either of the stars the director will start a project by this year end.
