Releasing as his second film with the producer himself in the lead, Red Giant Movies' 'Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal' (IKK) is gearing up for completion soon. The film is directed by SR Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame, and stars Udhayanidhi Stalin as the unemployed youth Kathirvelan, who falls in love on screen with Nayanthara, who is cast as the coy girl Pavithra. Actors Santhanam, Saranya Ponvannan, Chhaya Singh and Sundar Ramu are also part of the cast crew; Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar will also be seen in this film as themselves, in cameo roles.

The IKK team has just returned to Chennai after shooting a couple of song sequences in Switzerland. The audio of this film, composed by Harris Jeyaraj, is to be out on shelves in November, while the trailer of IKK is to be launched this Friday, October 11th.
