Vijay Sethupathi would have made you sit at the edge of the seat in 'Pizza' and tickled your funny bone in 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' and 'Soodhu Kavvum'. He has two more comedy capers - 'Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum' and 'Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara' - lined up for release, and has been signed in by Nemichand Jhabak, the makers of 'Maapillai' for 'Vanmam', directed by Jai Krishna.

The film will portray Vijay Sethupathi in a new getup, unlike his recent rendezvous. The actor has been growing bushy beard and a mane of hair for his unique role as an action hero in this film. The movie is canned by Bala Bharani and music is scored by Raghunanthan of 'Thenmerku Paruvakaatru' and 'Neerparavai' fame. It is to be noted that the production house is making yet another movie in parallel, which is directed by Magizh Thirumeni of 'Thadayara Thakka' fame and stars Arya in the lead.
