‘Madras Cafe’ starring John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri is turning out to be one of the most awaited films of the year. The film not only looks promising with its enthralling plot but its cast is creating a buzz too.

Interestingly, the film features the biggest ad gurus of India for the first time on the screen. Audience will see Piyush Pandey, the Executive Chairman and National Creative Director Ogilvy and Mather India in an important role in the film. For those who do not know, he is the man behind Cadbury’s best ever campaign ‘Kuch Khaas Hai’ and has won over 600 global awards for advertising. He has been named the most influential man in Indian Advertising for eight straight years by The Economic Times.

Another biggie from the ad world, Agnelo Dias, affectionately known as Aggie is also playing a noteworthy role in ‘Madras Cafe’. He is the Chairman and co-founder of Taproot India and the man who reminded us all that ‘Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai’ with Airtel’s iconic campaign.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar 'Madras Cafe' is scheduled to release nationwide in theatres on 23rd August. It is co-produced by JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films.
