Bala's Paradesi seems to be making waves all over the world and the latest comes in the form of recognition at London Film Festival. The movie is being considered for over eight different categories and the chances are quite high. Indian Cinema is also celebrating 100 years of Cinematic entertainment and this will be the first time a movie will be considered for over eight categories.

Based on a novel “Red Tea”, the movie hit the theatres all over the world by March and went on to garner heavy public reviews positively. The number of categories nomination is Best Director, Actor, Foreign film, Music etc.

Even though rest of the countries who have chipped in their nominations are Russia, Lebanon, America, the maximum nomination is from Bala’s Paradesi. The movie which came out with subtitles as “Vagabond” is making up a lot of noise in the International arena.
