The Venkat Prabhu directed feast “Biryani” might not be hitting the theatres on September 6 as scheduled after all. There are talks inside Kollywood that the movie has some leftover works in the Post Production phase and might push it to a later date, somewhere by end of September. This will also propel the grand audio launch slated to happen on Independence Day to be postponed to a later date.

The team is looking to launch the music on Aug 31 which is also Yuvan’s birthday, and the trend of launches on a star’s birthday seems to be catching up quite well with Kollywood, and coincidently this is also Yuvan’s 100th album. All said an official word is yet to be announced on what exactly is running through the mind of Biryani team.

The film has Karthi, Premji, Hansika in the star cast and Yuvan Shankar Raja crooning the music.
