It is not often that we come across stars who belong to the 100 crore grosser league - the band of actors whose movies bag a total of 100 crore rupees revenue or more. So far, the Kollywood industry has been monopolized by actors like Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan, whose movies turn out the maximum profit. The latest to join the league is our very own Dhanush - but the victory is not in Tamil.

Anand L Rai's Hindi flick 'Raanjhnaa' bagged a total revenue of more than a 100 crore rupees to bring Dhanush to the exalted position. The film had Sonam Kapoor as the heroine, and according to critics across the country, especially those from Bollywood attribute this huge success mainly to Dhanush's acting and AR Rahman's music. All said, this is certainly a big moment for all the fans and also for Kollywood at large, given that 'Raanjhnaa' was Dhanush's debut up north.
