'Aurangzeb' over, Arjun and Rishi move on to 'Gunday' and 'D-Day'

As expected, 'Aurangzeb' didn't really show any turnaround during the weekdays and ended up garnering just about decent numbers after an ordinary weekend.
What worked in its favour though was the fact that it didn't really see a steep fall and more or less consistent for the rest of the week, even if it was on the lower side. This is what assured this Yash Raj production to be a coverage affair at the least as just under 20 crores were accumulated in its first week.
Of course given the credentials attached to the film as well as the release period, it could have done much better. It had almost a fortnight for its disposal to make moolah, what with nil competition alongside and then not much challenge coming it's way in the week ahead either.
However, since there weren't many takers to begin with and the word of mouth too was on the average side, the Arjun Kapoor starrer just about managed to keep its head high.
The film's first week has been pretty much on the lines of 'Go Goa Gone' and it's eventual outcome too would follow suit as around 25 crores are expected to be the lifetime total. Arjun doesn't have to worry though as he moves on to 'Gunday' and then '2 States'. On the other hand Rishi Kapoor is already looking forward to his biggie of the year, 'D-Day'.
'I Don't Luv U' saw a sparse release for itself, didn't open well, hardly had anything going for it during the weekdays and is now off the screens in one week flat. The film, which saw negligible collections coming its way, is a box office disaster.
