After previously seen in ‘Shoot out at Lokhandwala’, versatile actress Amrita Singh is making a comeback with yet again an action drama, YRF’s ‘Aurangzeb’, starring Arjun Kapoor in lead. While in her last film she was shown a poor mother, this time around in ‘Auangzeb’ she will be seen as a playing a business tycoon Jackie Shroff’s wife belonging to the rich class of Gurgoan.

According to a spokesperson, Amrita has a strong and a prominent role in the film.

As a matter of fact, the actress has worked with YRF earlier with the film ‘Aaina’, and incidentally in that film too she was seen opposite Jackie Shroff. So it is interesting to note that she is back with the production and same opposite the same co-star.

Although the film is more of an action flavour, the actress still plays a significant character in the plot of the film. Apparently the actress has opted for an action masala for her comeback to 70 mm.

Amrita commenced her journey with a blockbuster like ‘Betaab’ and later she never looked back.

Since she started her journey in B- town Amrita Singh is has been appreciated for her performances.

It can be noted that the actress has always been different compared to her contemporaries and has touched every genre of cinema possible. Even for her come back she has been particular with the roles she has been offered.

Amrita is an actor with string of hits attached to her career and still continues to mark her presence in Bollywood.

Directed by Atul Sabharwal and produced by Aditya Chopra, ‘Aurangzeb’ is scheduled to release on 17th May 2013.
