Raj Kumar Santoshi has done a fantastic casting coup of sorts! By bringing together two heartthrobs in one frame... B-town’s sensational stars - dancing star Shahid Kapoor and Dabangg superstar Salman Khan will be sharing screen space for the first time in ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’.

While Shahid plays the role of a police officer in the film, details about Salman’s part are kept under the covers.

A source close to the production house revealed, "They shot the scene with Salman Khan over the last weekend at a suburban studio. The shoot lasted for six hours or so. And Rajkumar wants it to be a surprise for the audience. So, no one - apart from the actors involved in the scene - is aware of what his role is."

When contacted Shahid’s spokesperson, he confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Shahid and Salman shot together a few days ago." Apparently, Salman who is close friends with Rajkumar readily agreed to be a part of the film when he was approached by the filmmaker.

Unfortunately, the leading lady of the movie, Ileana D’Cruz will not be a part of the scene. Apart from all this, the movie has almost been shot with some final touch ups left, that will complete in a month’s time.
