Mahesh Bhatt plays Aditya's father in 'Aashiqui 2'!

With Mohit Suri’s ‘Aashiqui 2’ Mahesh Bhatt gets to showcase his yet another talent...

Apart from being producer of the film, Bhatt lends his voice to the forthcoming musical drama - a film extremely close to his heart, given that the first instalment he directed over 2 decades ago ,turned out to be a cult in its own right.

Playing the role of lead Aditya Roy Kapur’s father, Mahesh Bhatt will not make an appearance in the film but will be seen communicating with Aditya only via phone conversations.

Confirming the news Bhatt said, "I play the lead actor’s (Aditya) father. But I am not acting in the film; you won’t see me. I have given my voice for two scenes. He has a phone conversation with his dad and my voice can be heard".

Also Shraddha Kapoor, T-Series & Vishesh Films ‘Aashiqui 2’ is scheduled to release 26th April 2013.
