Good news! South Mumbai's oldest and legendary single screen, Liberty, will re-open with Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj's Emraan Hashmi-starrer Ek Thi Daayan.
It can be noted that the iconic theater had closed down for a couple of months in the wake of increasing competition from neighbouring cinemas like Sterling, Eros, New Excelsior and Regal. Come April 19 and the theatre will open its doors again to audiences with Ek Thi Daayan.
Not only this... Balaji has decided to support the single screen with its other heavy-duty releases like Shootout At Wadala, Lootera and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai...Again.
A delighted Vazir Hussain, owner of Liberty Cinema said, "We have four films lined up. We will see how it goes."
Way to go Ekta!
