One can instantly relate to him at the coining of the word 'chellam' of 'Ghilli' fame. Yes, we are talking about Prakash Raj, as the veteran turns 47 today. Born as Prakash Rai in Puttur, Karnataka, Prakash Raj entered the film industry through the Kannada flick 'Mithileya Seetheyaru' in 1990. And then there was no looking back. Though he debuted as an actor, he is multifaceted and has also donned the director's hat and the producer's charm in many successful films. With hundreds of films to his credit in a span of under three decades, he is one of the most sought after actors, across all the South Indian languages. His expertise does not cap there, but he has also moved to Bollywood recently, becoming a highly recognized face across the country.

Be it emotion, anger or comedy, Prakash Raj can carry off any role and ever so convincingly. No wonder, he has countless awards across languages to his credit. Currently, he is juggling 15 films across five languages. Here goes to the most fluent actor in Indian cinema, a bouquet of heartfelt wishes from Indiaglitz for a very happy birthday!
