Actor Rajnikant has announced his next move. It is not an announcement related to politics. Ratherit is something connected to the field which he is good in, that is, cinema. Amidst speculation that hewould take a plunge into politics and personally campaign against PMK, the actor has decided to stickto his domain.

After his last movie, Baba directed by Suresh Krishna which bombed at the box-office a couple ofyears ago, the actor will be starring in his next 'Jaggu Bhai', his home production. He is teaming up with director K S Ravikumarfor the new movie. The duo had earlier rendered successful hits such as 'Muthu' and 'Padayappa'.

Ever since the miserable show in 'Baba', Rajni was keen on doing a movie. The actor blamed the PMK for preventing the screening of Baba at many places which left his fans and PMK cadres at loggerheads. At a recent pressconference, Rajnikant had urged his fans to work against PMK's defeat in all six constituencies where the party is contesting. At this juncture, his announcement of his next movie, just a week before the Lok Sabha polls has raised a few eyebrows.

The actor seems to have listened to many stories and has finally decided to proceed with 'Jaggu Bhai'. Names of various directors were discussed for his next venture. The names of Hari, S J Surya and Theja were discussed. However, the actor has chosen to do the venture with Ravikumar.

The movie is being produced by R Sathyanarayana Gaikwad, K Murali and K Sathyanarayanan and music will be scored by A R Rehman. The lyrics will be penned by Vairamuthu. The shooting is expected to commence this July and the movie will be released during Deepavali. The movie is reportedly about communal harmony. Meanwhile, Ravikumar has expressed happiness to direct Rajnikant's next venture.

Hope the successful duo repeats their success!
