Kamal Hassan has visibly been anguished by the obstacles that have been created for the release of his film. Today in a press conference, he was emotional and spoke in a fashion that that only reflects his high thinking.

Saying that the judge asked if one man's money is more important than the unity and integrity of the country, he said, "I agree, unity is more important than my money".

Kamal had pledged all his immovable properties in Chennai in investment for the film. With the delay in the release of the film, the creditors have been making move to occupy them. "If it continues, even this house will go - I have a lot of memories in this house…have learned dance, held press meets…" he has been quoted as saying. Saying that money was nothing for him and his family, he added that he had no politics, no religion.

The usually soft-spoken actor did not target any one in his carefully spoken, seemingly extempore, speech. "How a movie set in the US can hurt the sentiments of Indian Muslims?" he asked.
