This is one spoof that didn't go down well with the makers of 'Race 2'. Though it was all done in jest with no malicious intentions whatsoever, those associated with the Abbas-Mustan starrer weren't willing to see the joke and instead came down heavily on those behind the spoof.

"This is a two and a half minute long spoof which is in a run on mode with the actual promo of the film. While the background score along with songs and the visuals have been kept intact, the dialogues have been dubbed and some funny captions added as well.

Hilarious to the core, it also came with a disclaimer of being for 'fun purpose only' with 'no intention to hurt anyone'. However just when it had started getting viral on YouTube, it was removed from the site on grounds of copyright violation", informs an observer.

Titled 'DisgRACE 2', the video spoofs everything from Abbas-Mustan’s style of directing to the sheer thought behind making the film to the various traits attached to each and every actor related to the film. While it quips upon John's acting and Saif's debonair persona, it doesn't mind taking a dig on Deepika being the ultimate party girl and Ameesha being remembered most for 'Gadar'.

"Since the spoof has come way too close to the film's release, the makers are justified in blocking the video. Even though it is in good humour, it doesn't make sense to let any sort of negativity seep in. It is better to be safe and TIPS have done the right thing in ensuring that it was off the world of web", a fellow filmmaker reasons.

However those associated with 'Race 2' have reasons to worry because soon after the spoof being blocked, it made an appearance at other websites and further went viral. Guess this is some quantum of publicity that has just come unannounced and is finding its space despite not being welcomed.
