This product of Kamal Hassan has been spoken of so much so lately that we were more than ready to watch the film. The news yesterday was that the movie did not get expected the amount of bookings on DTH, so they backed out of that plan. Not just that, Kamal himself said that even the theater release is postponed to the 25th of January because not many theaters came forward for the release too.

Many different "facts" about the movie kept growing, so, the man of the moment himself called up a Press Meet today in Chennai and cleared all the doubts of the reporters. He clearly said that "Vishwaroopam" is not getting released now, and no, the date for actual release hasn't been decided yet either. He also said that this was for the purpose of his sole comfort and not due to any threats or opposals. Kamal also mentioned that he was hurt that the industry did not want to make use of technology like DTH releases and hoped that they would be his allies by the end of the day.
