Since this is the last Friday of 2012, at least a dozen films were gearing up to hit the screens. But at last, five movies are finally making their way to screens.

Meanwhile, 'Kumki' and 'Neethane En Ponvasantham', which hit the screens a couple of weeks ago, are still attracting crowds to the theatres.

Also running in the screens is 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai', a remake of a yesteryear hit of the same title. Debutant Sneha Britto has directed the movie.

The scenario is expected to prevail till Pongal, when a slew of big movies hit the screens.
