Though there seems to be no direct Tamil release in the box-office today, the Tamil version of 'Life of Pi' is hitting the screens. Needless to say, the movie has already generated enough expectations.

The Deepavali releases, especially 'Thuppakki', are still going strong and the trend is expected to continue till next Friday, when some of the eagerly awaited movies like 'Neer Paravai' and 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkathai Kaanom' would see the light of the day.

Meanwhile, Kollywood is getting ready to a slew of releases in the coming weeks. If trade sources are to be believed, nearly 20 films are gearing up to meet the audience in the next two months.
