AR Murugadoss and Vijay's Thuppakki has emerged as the highest grosser for 2012 in the USA. The movie is declared a super hit worldwide. The movie is witnessing repeat audience due to its entertainment value. Thuppakki was released in 54 centers by ATMUS Entertainment.

Today, November 22nd is the Thanksgiving Day in the USA and it is a national holiday. Most offices are closed tomorrow as well, making it a 4 day holiday weekend. For the first time in 2012, a Tamil movie is continued in 36 screens for a second week. Here is the schedule for the long weekend in USA
