These are the days when Kollywood stars targeting Tollywood and vice versa. Joining the league is Mahesh Babu, who is hailed as 'Prince' in Andhra Pradesh.

In the past, movies starring Mahesh in the lead were dubbed and released in Tamil. For the first time now, he will be part of a straight Tamil movie.

To be directed by Krish (of 'Vaanam' fame) and to be produced by Ashwini Dutt, the film, which will be made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, has been tentatively titled 'Shivam'.

"Mahesh knows Tamil very well since he was brought up in Chennai. He is eagerly waiting for Shivam," sources said.

Meanwhile, director Krish's next venture 'Ongaram', starring Rana Daggubati and Nayanthara, will hit the screens soon.
