Sona Heiden has denied a charge against her that she insulted men in her recent interview to a Tamil weekly. "I never said such things," says the actress-producer.

Also, Sona has filed a complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner, requesting him to take action against those behind the 'false interview'.

"Due to the said false publication, my name is being tarnished in the media and I am being targeted by several groups and I have become a victim of circumstances," she said.

Sona added: "Statements which I never made are given in the said publication by falsely projecting as though I made those statements. I had not made those statements attributed to me."
