A guessing game is on in Kollywood, dishing out various theories as reasons behind Kamal Haasan meeting Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on his birthday on Wednesday.

While some people say the 'Ulaga Nayagan' called on Jayalalithaa to ensure smooth release of his forthcoming film 'Viswaroopam', others say it was just a courtesy call, seeking her wishes on his birthday.

Meanwhile, there are others who say that Kamal discussed with the Chief Minister one of his proposed initiatives, which he is planning to do with the help of the State government.

Earlier in the day, Kamal launched a new trailer of 'Viswaroopam' (in Aura 3D format), and said the film tries to find the root-cause of terrorism and he had tried to make a statement on the subject.

A multifaceted personality, Kamal is an actor, screenwriter, producer and director, among his other faces.

In addition to acting, screenwriting and directing, he has also featured in films as a songwriter, playback singer and choreographer.

With 'Viswaroopam', in which he is trying his hands at many a trade, creating big expectations, let us wish him a successful year ahead.
