Vaagai Sooda Vaa, the comical drama which hit screens in 2011 has been chosen to appear in International Film Festival of India.

Having successfully won the National award for Best Feature Film in Tamil last year, the film will be showcased at the festival which is set to take place. Vaagai Sooda Vaa brought back rural life back to Tamil cinema which has turned pretty urban these days. It had the likes of Vimal, Iniya, Bhagyaraj and Thambi Ramiah doing the roles. Director Sarkunam and the music of the film also got critical acclaim.

Looks like the film is going to bring more pride to Tamil cinema even avuear after it's release.
