No delay in 'Kumki' release

There were reports in few sections of the media, claiming that 'Kumki' would not hit the screens for Deepavali as announced earlier, since some scenes were to be reshot.

However, circles close to the movie's director (Prabhu Solomon) and producer (Lingusamy) have denied the claim, saying that there are no such plans.

"The shooting has been wrapped up and everyone concerned is happy about the way the film was made. So there is no question of reshoot," say sources.

Starring Vikram Prabhu (grandson of thespian Sivaji Ganesan and son of Prabhu) as protagonist, 'Kumki' has Lakshmi Menon as the leading lady. Music is by D Imman.
