Vimal turns a singer

Vimal, after proving himself in comedy and serious roles, has turned a singer now. The 'Kalavani' and 'Kalakalappu' actor has crooned a few lines of one of the songs in his upcoming film 'Sillunu Oru Santhippu'.

The single track 'Busse Busse...', composed by F S Faizal, was launched in Chennai on Saturday. Vijay Prakash and Rita have crooned it, while Vimal has uttered a few lined toward the end of the song.

Says the film's director Ravi Lallin, "It is an item number and Vimal is shaking his legs for this song with a Bollywood actress. The number, we believe, will be welcomed by youngsters a lot."

Featuring Vimal, Oviya and Deepa Shah (of 'Yudhdham Sei' fame) in lead roles, 'Sillunu Oru Santhippu' is being claimed as a breezy romantic entertainer, reflecting its title.
