At last the battle is over for Madan Patel on the controversial film Satyananda. The Regional censor board officer K Nagaraju facing allegations of bribe did not approve the film as the things were complicated from Swami Nithyananda side too.
Not happy with the regional censor board looking at his film director, producer, actor, politician Madan patel went to the revising committee in New Delhi. At the revising committee Satyananda Kannada cinema was given A certificate with five cuts.

In last October the film Satyananda was banned from release by Bengaluru City Civil Court. Swami Nityananda of Bidadi has filed a case against the release of the film. Madan Patel questioning the Bengaluru City Civil court order of ban moved to High Court of Karnataka.
