If 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' is any indication, Sarah-Jane Dias is not shying away from being a complete 'besharam' as far as movie making is concerned.
Taking a conscious call to be in a profession where one has to shed ones inhibitions, she played a night club dancer in her debut flick 'Game' and now finds herself in the middle of unlimited naughty jokes in her latest outing.
"Well, what I have learnt with this film is that when you are doing comedy, you should not feel ashamed of looking stupid or funny on screen. The requirement of the film was for me to be completely shameless and that is what I followed to the T.
I had to just switch myself off from thinking about anything else, take a deep breath and stop thinking about how the others would react," says Sarah who is in the news for reprising the 'Dil Dola' moment from 'Devdas', albeit with a naughty 'dildo' twist to it.
She further goes on to defend the double meaning dialogues in the film. "Pick up anyone's BBM and you would find seven out of ten jokes being sex-laded. Isn't that normal?", she questions. "We all enjoy when reading these jokes so now we have gone ahead and made an entire film.
What's wrong with that? I come from a marketing background and can study people well. Better give them what they are ready for." Sarah goes on to add on a serious note, "Having said that, I feel that sometimes as an actor you tend to over analyse a single line or your part as a whole.
That sometimes leads you to doubt your own judgement, which in my opinion is wrong as excess of anything is wrong." Well, 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' has indeed turned out to be one extended excessive joke book affair.
With audience giving their nod of approval to the film, one now waits to see the kind of offers that Sarah-Jane may soon find herself flooded with days to come.
