Despite Aadi being dubbed as an inauspicious month, three films have hit the screens today- 'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathile', 'Pollangu' and 'Suzhal'. Interestingly, all the three have newcomers at the helm of affairs.

'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathile'

Written and directed by Narayan Nagendra Rao, the contemporary entertainer is produced by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Creations. "It will be a fresh entertainer which will impress the youth," says the director.

'Pollangu'

Claimed as a thriller, 'Pollangu' is directed by Gandhi Marx. It is being released all over Tamil Nadu by M Prakash and E Ravichandran of P R Entertainment.

'Suzhal'

The film marks the comeback of Atul Kulkarni in Kollywood. Directed by Jayakumar, 'Suzhal' is produced by Whyte Infotainment Pvt Ltd. An action thriller it is distributed by Abirami Megamall.
