Popular Malayalam filmmaker MA Nishad, who directed Padmapriya in a movie titled 'No 66 Madhura Bus', has filed a complaint with the Film Chamber against the actress and her manager.

According to Nishad, Padmapriya's manager Vivek Ramadevan has interfered with his work. "The disturbance came despite a circular from the producers association that discourages artistes from depending on managers to deal with people in the industry," he said.

The director claimed that Padmapriya’s dates were procured for Rs 8 lakh. However, her manager Vivek entered the scene and demanded another 2 lakh.

Nishad also added that she was not on time for the shooting and it created problems for him. Padmapriya is popular in Kollywood for films such as 'Thavamai Thavamirundu' and 'Satham Podathey'.
