Actor-filmmaker Thangar Bachan, who is busy directing his comeback venture 'Ammavin Kaipesi', has floated an organization called Thamizh Koodu.

"The objective of Thamizh Koodu is to create political awareness among the youngsters of Tamil Nadu. Students are my prime target. More than seven lakh members have enrolled themselves so far," says Thangar.

He adds: "At least one person from every family should enter politics. They should create a change in the political system. People should not keep quiet after exercising their voting power."

On 'Ammavin Kaipesi', which has Shanthanu Bhagyarj and Iniya in lead roles, the 'Azhagi' and 'Pallikoodam' maker says, "It will speak about the practice of leaving parents in old age homes and other such things."
