Happy birthday, Pandiraj!

National Award winning director turned producer Pandiraj celebrates his birthday today (June 7).

Pandiraj is currently working on an untitled venture which will feature Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan. The film is touted to be an out and out commercial entertainer with a good dosage of comedy. Two leading music directors have been approached for the film. An official announcement listing the cast and crew will be made shortly.

His very debut as a director, ‘Pasanga’ in 2009 won several accolades and much critical acclaim. It won National Awards for the Best Feature film in Tamil and Best Screenplay. Two other films by Pandiraj, ‘Vamsam’, a family entertainer and ‘Marina’ that recently released saw a good run as well.
