While Karisma Kapoor is in news for her comeback to Bollywood with 'Dangerous Ishhq', the fact is that the Vikram Bhatt directed film also features Jimmy Sheirgill in a pivotal role. Though the film doesn't feature him and Karisma in a typical hero-heroine liaison, Jimmy is one of the main protagonists in 'Dangerous Ishhq' which is a musical romantic drama centred on past life regression.

"The film is spread over 500 years and I feature in the present times", says Jimmy who plays the role of a police officer in 'Dangerous Ishhq', "I am required to carry out an investigation and though I come along with Karisma for quite a few sequences in the film, I don't share any romantic rendezvous with her. That's not the plot."

He is perfectly fine with such characterisation though where he doesn't get to sing around the trees.

Smiles Jimmy, "In any case those times are gone when lead protagonists had to necessarily fall in love with each other at any given situation. The film is a dramatic thriller and I am required to find out the connection with Karisma's past life."

Audience too would be able to find that out once 'Dangerous Ishhq' releases next Friday.
