Director Thiru of 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' fame has rechristened his forthcoming film 'Samaran', starring Vishal in the lead role, as 'Samar'. "We thought Samar would be more catchy than Samaran and hence the decision," he says.

With Trisha and Sunaina playing the heroines, 'Samar', an action adventure movie, is being produced by Balaji Real Media, which produced 'Osthe' before. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

"We shot some important scenes in Thailand recently. Once again we are planning a fresh schedule in Thailand, which will start after May 10. We will shoot there for 24 days. In the meantime, we are also planning to release a single number from the movie," Thiru adds.

Stating that attempts are on to wrap the shooting soon and release the movie in July, Thiru, who is happy about working with Vishal after 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai', says the actor is hard working and dedicated.
