Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth will celebrate Deepavali much ahead of the official date. For, their Thalaivar's forthcoming flick 'Kochadaiyaan', which was initially scheduled for Deepavali, has been advanced to September!

In a statement, Mediaone Global Entertainment, which is producing the film, said the first phase of shooting of 'Kochadaiyaan' has been completed and the movie is slated for release in September this year.

"The first schedule of shooting at London has been completed and shooting in India has commenced," Mediaone stated. Rajiv Menon handles the camera, the film is likely to be released in Telugu, English, Hindi and Japanese.

Being helmed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of Rajini, the film has story, screenplay and dialogues by KS Ravikumar. Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Aadhi are part of the cast.
