Multiple National Award winning south India’s favourite villain, Prakash Raj celebrates his birthday today (March 26). The multi-faceted personality has contributed in ways more than one to films as an actor, director and producer. He is also one of the few actors who is popular in the five leading industries of the country – Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Prakash Raj is today one of the prominent character artists who is in demand for films that feature top notch actors. Apart from a number of biggies in South Indian cinema he also has three promising films up north, ‘Dabangg 2’ with Salman Khan, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Zanjeer’.

In fact in ‘Saguni’, a Karthi – Pranitha starrer, the makers weren’t satisfied with the villain’s performance after the shoot was entirely wrapped and immediately opted for Prakash Raj to add mass appeal to their film!
