Till Lingusamy watched the first copy of 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9', the forthcoming film of Balaji Shakthivel for which the 'Vettai' director is the producer, he was not aware of the story.

"I had full confidence on Balaji and he proved it true. I was moved into tears after watching the film," Lingusamy says. Interestingly, it was Balaji Shakthivel who kick-started the filmy career of Lingusamy by recommending him to director A Venkatesh as an assistant.

"Balaji was the one who introduced world cinema to me. His passion for movies is still the same. It has not changed a bit even after more than a decade. I salute it," says Lingusamy, who is happy and satisfied as a producer with 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9'.

On how the project happened, he says, "One day, Balaji told me that he had an idea (to make a film) in the mind but could not narrate it as a story. He wanted me to produce it if I had confidence on him. I immediately said yes and the end-product is ready now."
