She is one of the few actresses in the tinsel town today who has held her ground for more than 7 years now. After the likes of Soundarya, Trisha is one of the few beautiful actresses who is a household name in Andhra Pradesh. Only she could have said that she prefers stardom to being called a mere actress. Not that she doesn't value meaty roles (like the one she has done in Bodyguard) but she prefers to be a star heroine with a big image.

"Doing versatile and experimental roles will give immense satisfaction to an actor. However it is not true the recognition that such roles bring will give you more and more films. I will like to be called a star heroine than a mere actress. An actress needs stardom in the film industry", Trisha elaborates.

Trisha does make a point. Though we would have had many actors with mettle, some real talents went unnoticed after two or three flops. Had Trisha not got a stardom to boast of, would Gopichand Malineni have thought of offering her Bodyguard?
