Ravi Teja-starrer Daruvu, written and directed by Shiva, is currently being shot in Bangkok. Producer Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna is planning to release the film in the second half of March.

Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Raghu Babu, Avinash, Sushanth Singh, Sana, Dharmavarapu, Vennela Kishore will also be seen. Prabhu is in a special appearance. Kaikala Sathyanarayana, Prabhu, MS Narayana, LB Sriram and others are also part of the cast.

The film has dialogues by Ramesh Gopi and Anil Ravipudi. Music is by Vijay Anthony. Editing is by Gautham Raju. Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla, Suddala Ashok Teja and Ramajogaiah Sastry.

The Mass Maharaja and Tapsee will be the lead pair of this movie, which is touted as an entertainer with commercial elements. The makers say that Ravi Teja is playing a multi-dimensional character here.

Tapsee, who is being paired up with the hero for the first time since Veera, has a meaty role.
