Set in the backdrop of a college, the film derives its strength from its novelty and the very-differently told scenes and incidents, says the director, Balaji Mohan. Touted as a feel-good story, the movie philosophizes that defeat in love is a kind of victory.

The makers are gung-ho that the response to the recently-released audio has been inspiring. Thaman’s music, to be sure, changes the tacks here. They attribute the album’s success to the distinction that each song throws up.

Slated to be released on Feb. 17, this film has lyrics by Srimani. While the combo of Siddharth and Amala Paul will be eagerly watched out for, the directorial touch of the debutante is not to be missed, if we are to believe the words of the hero-producer. Something unique in the narration touched Sid and stirred him into becoming producer.
