Even as their first co-production venture 'Vettai' is running to packed houses ever since it hit the screens on Saturday, Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers Film Media Pvt Ltd and UTV Motion Pictures are gearing up for the release of their next venture.

By the middle of February, their second film together 'Vazhakku Enn: 18/9', written and directed by Balaji Sakthivel, will hit the screens. "Lingusamy and UTV bosses are happy with the response to Vettai. They are keen to continue the partnership," sources say.

'Vazhakku Enn: 18/9' is touted to be a thriller, which is set on the lives of school-going youngsters. "The movie is about various MMS scandals that affect the mind and future of the younger generation," sources maintain.

UTV and Thirrupathi Brothers signed a three-film deal last year. Besides promoting 'Vettai' and preparing for 'Vazhakku Enn: 18/9', they are also currently busy with the shooting of 'Kumki' directed by Prabhu Solomon, which has Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Vikram Prabhu as protagonist.
